This jack features a double safety mechanism that eliminates the risk of serious injury.
The double mechanism consists of a safety catch and a release pedal. The jack can then no longer be lowered, even in the event of a hydraulic leak.
The release pedal ensures that the jack only lowers when the user wants it. If the user turns the handle a quarter turn and simultaneously depresses the pedal, the jack drops at a regulated rate. As soon as the user releases the handle, the jack stops. This jack can be used not only to jack up vehicles, but also motorcycles. Thanks to its dimensions (900 mm long, 270 mm wide and 135 mm high), the jack can easily be slid under vehicles with even the lowest chassis. When working on a jacked-up vehicle, the load rests on the mechanical locking system and not on the cylinder. This puts less stress on the cylinder and makes it last longer, and so does the jack.
