The SIMPLEX impact insert soft metal (Series 3209) is a hard insert. This silver colored insert is also heat insensitive. It allows very hard hitting, but without damaging the workpiece as with a classic lead hammer. These inserts are available in sizes D30mm to D80mm. Soft metal inserts must not be mounted in an aluminum housing!
